<p>This outdoor unit of an air conditioner is provided with an outdoor unit main body (22) which has a quadrangular planar shape, a heat exchanger (13) which is provided along the lateral surface of the outdoor unit main body (22), and a fan (23) which, provided at the top of the outdoor unit main body (22), blows the air which is inside the outdoor unit main body (22) upwards. Between one side end (13a) and the other, adjacent side end (13b) of the heat exchanger (13), an opening (20) is formed to enable communication between the inside and outside of the outdoor unit main body (22), and, in at least one of the aforementioned side ends (13a, 13b) positioned at the edge of the opening (20), a cover member (21) is provided covering a heat conduction tube (48a) protruding from said side end.</p> |
