PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable-type secondary battery, excellent in stability and performance while being easily deformable.SOLUTION: A cable-type secondary battery includes: a negative electrode current collector 10 having a horizontal cross section of a predetermined shape and extending in a longitudinal direction thereof; a negative electrode active material pattern layer 20 having negative electrode active material patterns spaced away from each other at a predetermined interval on the negative electrode current collector 10; an electrolyte layer 30 surrounding the negative electrode active material pattern layer 20 to be filled and serving as an ion channel; a positive electrode active material pattern layer 40 having positive electrode active material patterns spaced away from each other at a predetermined interval at locations corresponding to those of the negative electrode active material patterns, on the electrolyte layer 30; and a positive electrode current collector 50 surrounding the positive electrode active material pattern layer 40. The cable-type secondary battery has an active material that forms a pattern, thereby having excellent flexibility to prevent the detachment of the active material.
