PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of data relay.SOLUTION: A relay device updates a value of a specific field among a plurality of fields in a header of a layer 3. Also, the relay device uses a first feature value of the header of the layer 3 that is stored in a predetermined field among the plurality of fields and values of the specific field before and after the update to calculate a second feature value of the header of the layer 3, updates the first feature value of the predetermined field with the second feature value, and outputs a frame after updating the value of the specific field and the value of the predetermined field to a network via a port specified as an output destination of the updated frame among a plurality of ports. |
