In this electronic apparatus, which is such that a lid-side casing (10) and a bottom-side casing (20) are connected by a hinge (30) in order to distinguish between a state in which the casing of the electronic apparatus is closed and a state in which the case is folded up at the back surface side, the magnetic axis (12a) passing from the S-pole to the N-pole of a magnet (12) that the lid-side casing (10) has is inclined with respect to the direction perpendicular to the surface of the lid-side casing (10) opposing the bottom-side casing (20), and magnetism sensors (A and B) had by the bottom-side casing (20) detect and distinguish between the magnetic fields generated by the magnet (12) in a closed state and in a tablet state. |
