Provided is a simple pipette discharge volume calibration method, and corresponding device, which can secure the correct discharge amount under any measurement conditions. In order to achieve that the volume actually discharged is the configured amount, this method involves a step (S1) for configuring a configured amount with the pipette that actually does the measuring, a step (S2) for sucking the liquid to be measured into the tip that where the measuring is performed, a step (S3) for discharging the liquid sucked into the tip into a mass measuring device that can measure weight, steps (S4-S6) for verifying the actual amount actually discharged from the pipette, and steps (S7-S9) for calculating the ratio of the configured volume to the actual volume and calibrating to suck in the amount obtained by multiplying the configured amount by said ratio. |
