A roof reinforcement (20) includes an upper-surface portion (21) joined to a roof panel (3), and a recess portion (22) formed in such a manner as to be recessed below the upper-surface portion (21). At both ends in a vehicle width direction of a bottom surface portion (23) of the recess portion (22), there are provided rising pieces (27) rising upward from the bottom surface portion (23), and joint pieces (28) extending from an upper end of the rising pieces (27) toward the outside in the vehicle width direction.
