<p>The absorbent article (1) is provided with compression grooves (50) in which a surface sheet (10) and an absorbent (30) that extend in the longitudinal direction (L) are compressed in the thickness direction (T). Said compression grooves (50) have a pair of first longitudinal compression grooves (51) and a pair of second longitudinal compression grooves (52) disposed on the outside of the first longitudinal compression grooves (51) in the width direction (W). The absorbent (30) interposed between the pair of second longitudinal compression grooves (52) has at least one constricted section (55) wherein the interval between the pair of second longitudinal compression grooves (52) narrows in the width direction (W). In either the first longitudinal compression grooves (51) or the second longitudinal compression grooves (52), high compression sections (56) and low compression sections (57) are alternately disposed in the longitudinal direction (L) and the other of the first longitudinal compression grooves (51) and the second longitudinal compression grooves (52) is configured from a high compression section (56) alone.</p> |
