PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element that exhibits improved yield and has high productivity and a multiunit structure without losing basic physical properties of an organic electroluminescence element.SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element includes: a charge generating layer that generates holes and electrons by application of an electric field between an anode and a cathode; and a plurality of light-emitting units disposed to interpose the charge generating layer. The light-emitting unit comprises a plurality of organic compound layers. At least one of the organic compound layers or at least one layer of the charge generating layer is formed by a transfer process. The organic compound layers include at least one light-emitting layer or more; a non-light-emitting layer is present between the charge generating layer and the light-emitting layer; and the charge generating layer contains an organic donor and an organic acceptor. |
