Provided is an elongated film manufacturing method comprising: (a) a first step of elongating a long pre-elongation film in an oblique direction at an elongation multiple (B1), obtaining a long intermediate film; and after the first step, (b) a second step of, while continuously conveying the intermediate film, carrying out unconstrained uniaxial elongating of the intermediate film at an elongation multiple (B2) in the flow direction, obtaining a long elongated film. The elongation multiples satisfy B1>B2. |
