A balance correction device (1) is equipped with a plurality of converter-type balance correction units for controlling the supply of current to a plurality of electricity storage cells by performing control so that two switching elements are complementarily turned on/off and for thereby allowing power to be transferred between the electricity storage cells through an inductor to balance the voltages of the electricity storage cells. In the balance correction device (1), a common timing signal used for generating control signals for the switching elements is supplied to each of the balance correction units. For example, in the balance correction device (1), the timing signal that is supplied to a first balance correction unit is generated on the basis of the change of voltage applied to a capacitor element that is charged by the voltage difference occurring between the control signal generated by a second balance correction unit and the positive electrode of a second electricity storage cell in the second balance correction unit. |
