<p>Provided are a large-scale data generation method and apparatus for testing, wherein the method comprises: a first node analyzing sample data to obtain at least one probability distribution function of the sample data, the sample data being derived from actually test text data; the first node building a random number generator according to the at least one probability distribution function of the sample data; and the first node using the random number generator to generate large-scale data. The large-scale data generation method and apparatus for testing can obtain large-scale data that is capable of giving a reflection of real data law.</p>
