<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of appropriately adjusting the fixation temperature according to the amount of application of toner.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: output format determination means for determining whether or not poster printing is specified, for enlarging an input image and performing the image formation thereof on a plurality of record media having prescribed positions specified therefor; derivation means for deriving, when the output format determination means determines that the poster printing is specified, the amount of application of toner for each image area in the input image, corresponding to each of the positions of the plurality of record media; determination means for determining a common fixation temperature with respect to the plurality of record media on the basis of the amount of application of toner for each image area in the input image, derived by the derivation means; and control means for controlling the fixation temperature when performing fixation processing on the plurality of recording media having toner images formed thereon on the basis of the input image, according to the common fixation temperature determined by the determination means.</p> |
