According to an embodiment of the present invention, a display device including a touch screen can implement a palm rejection function. The display device can distinguish a valid touch recognized as an actually valid touch and an unintended invalid touch recognized as an actually invalid touch to only accept the valid touch and dismiss the invalid touch. The display device can separate such valid touches from the invalid touches in multiple touch inputs received by the display device to remove the invalid touches. Accordingly, the display device including an intermediate or large touch screen can increase the accuracy of the palm rejection function. The present invention can also run the palm rejection function with respect to the size and distance of the touches to increase the accuracy thereof as the size of touch screens becomes bigger and electric boards become commercially available. |
