<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide propellant for a thruster which exhibits a low detonation property and high specific thrust. <P>SOLUTION: The propellant for a thruster contains an HAN/AN mixed chemical in which hydroxyl ammonium nitrate (HAN) and ammonium nitrate (AN) are mixed at an AN mass ratio of 10% or less, water, and methanol. The HAN/AN mixed chemical of 60-76 mass% is contained with respect to a total mass of the HAN/AN mixed chemical, water, and methanol. In addition, when 16-32 mass% methanol is contained, 5-24 mass% water is contained, and 22 mass% or less methanol is contained, 6% or more water is contained in the propellant for a thruster. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
