<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle riding type vehicle that can prevent an increase in the temperature of a drive motor of a drive motor unit. <P>SOLUTION: The saddle riding type vehicle 10 includes: a cylinder head 54 having a cooling air passage 80 for introducing traveling air from a traveling air inlet 81 and discharging the traveling air from traveling air outlets 82, 83 while cooling the vicinity of a spark plug 75; an air intake path 60 connected to an air intake port formed at a rear surface of the cylinder head 54; and the drive motor unit 72 having the drive motor 73 for opening and closing a throttle valve 70 provided in the air intake path 60.
