<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine control device that can optimize a control parameter of the internal combustion engine according to driving characteristics of a driver. <P>SOLUTION: A driver transient degree Rt is calculated as a ratio of a state amount average deviation valueΔXave obtained from a cylinder state amount change in an actual travelling state to a maximum reference valueΔXb-ave in a state amount change determined based on the cylinder state amount change in a specific travelling mode. When the driver transient degree Rt is not lower than 1, an opening degree of an EGR valve is set to become relatively smaller to increase a cylinder oxygen concentration. When the driver transient degree Rt is less than 1, the smaller the driver transient degree Rt is, the opening degree of the EGR valve is set to become relatively larger to decrease the cylinder oxygen concentration. Accordingly, misfire is not caused during the transient travelling and exhaust emission can be decreased by lowering the cylinder oxygen concentration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
