A METHOD FOR PREPARING AI SUBSTITUTED GARNET

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a cubic structure by adding aluminium (AI) to Li7La3Zr2O12 (LLZ) which is a garnet material and has excellent ionic conductivity to enable the aluminium (Al) to replace lithium. More specifically, the method includes the steps of adding Al to LLZ in a cubic phase at the room temperature to enable Al to replace the lithium to stabilize the cubic structure and increasing the density by liquid phase sintering effects to improve the physical properties of the LLZ.
