The present invention relates to an antibacterial filter using grapefruit seed extract which can obtain an excellent anti-bacterial effect at low costs, and to an apparatus for purifying air using the same. Specifically, provided are an antibacterial filter using grapefruit seed extract which is prepared with a material comprising grapefruit seed extract to process microorganisms collected on an outer surface, or is coated with grapefruit seed extract on the outer surface, and an apparatus for purifying air using the same.
