ANTIMICROBIAL SUTURE

The present invention relates to a suture and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the suture comprises: a biguanide antifungal agent; a biodegradable polymer for forming film; and a coating layer consisting of coating materials including fatty acid, salt thereof, or ester salt thereof. According to the present invention, a suture includes a biodegradable polymer for forming film, and fatty acid, salt thereof, or ester salt thereof, thereby allowing a biguanide antifungal agent to be discharged at an appropriate concentration to show excellent antibiosis. Accordingly, the proliferation of germs, bacteria, viruses can be sufficiently suppressed, thereby promoting junction of a suture portion and having an excellent hemostasis effect.
