MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME

Disclosed is a magnetic resonance imaging device comprising; a storage unit which stores a plurality of magnetic resonance signal data sets by applying a plurality of first and second MR parameter values to a magnetic resonance signal data producing module; a data obtaining unit which obtains the magnetic resonance signal data set for a specific position of an object by under-sampling a magnetic resonance signal based on the first MR parameter values; and an image processing unit which extracts the magnetic resonance signal data set matched with the under-sampled magnetic resonance signal data set among the magnetic resonance signal data sets and obtains the second MR parameter values for the under-sampled magnetic resonance signal data set based on the extracted magnetic resonance signal data set and interpolates magnetic resonance signal data which is not sampled in the under-sampled magnetic resonance signal data set by using the obtained second MR parameter value. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an image which is similar to a magnetic resonance image can be produced based on data which is sampled fully even in case of the excessive under-sampling.
