PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten bonding strength between a first frame part and a second frame part in a surface light source device in which light leaked from a side surface of a light guide plate is made to reflect at the first frame part and re-enter the light guide plate, and also light transmitting the frame is absorbed by the second frame part.SOLUTION: A light guide plate 24 and a light source 26 are accommodated in a frame 23. The frame 23 is formed by covering an outer peripheral surface of a quadrangular frame shape inner frame part 23a made of white resin with a quadrangular frame shape outer frame part 23b made of black resin. At least one part of a junction surface where the outer peripheral surface of the inner frame part 23a and an inner peripheral surface of the outer frame part 23b come into contact with each other is bent or curved along a length direction of a side where this junction surface is located. |
