An apparatus for purifying polluting gas using ozone for a ship is provided to make polluting gas and ozone react and to easily treat nitrogen oxide included in the polluting gas, by comprising: an ozone supply unit that creates ozone; a first gas treating unit that oxidizes the nitrogen monoxide included in polluting gas into nitrogen dioxide; an electric precipitator unit placed at the front end or the rear end of the first gas treating unit that makes ozone supplied into the inside from the ozone generating unit react with polluting gas, oxidizes nitrogen monoxide into nitrogen dioxide, and treats particle materials included in polluting gas; and a second gas treating unit that receives polluting gas treated by the first gas treating unit and treats nitrogen dioxide, at least one from among the first gas treating unit and the second gas treating unit treating sulfur oxide included in polluting gas.
