The present invention relates to an organic electroluminescent display device and a driving method thereof, and more specifically, to an organic electroluminescent display device which can compensate deterioration of pixels, and to a driving method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the organic electroluminescent display device comprises: a compensation unit determining a data compensation method corresponding to each pixel based on accumulated data which accumulates a first data supplied from the outside, converting a gradation value corresponding to each pixel according to the determined data compensation method, and generating a second data; a data driving unit supplying the second data as a data signal to the pixels through data lines; and a sensing unit sensing current which flows through each driving transistor and/or organic light emitting diode of the pixels, and outputting current information to the sensed current to the compensation unit.
