An apparatus and method for controlling driving of a vehicle using a navigation device that comprehensively control devices and sensors related to driving of a vehicle on the basis of road information obtained from the navigation device are provided to solve the inefficiency that each and every device and sensor needs to deal with road map information respectively. The apparatus of the present invention is provided by comprising: a front road information acquiring unit that acquires the information of the front road on the basis of the current position of a vehicle which is driving; a target deciding unit that decides the target among the devices and sensors related to automatic driving of the vehicle on the basis of the information on the front road; a control volume calculating unit that calculates the control volume that will be used when controlling the target; and a target control unit that controls the target on the basis of the control volume.
