A magnetic encoder-type hub bearing unit is provided to minimize the air gap (a), to improve a WSS sensor performance, to especially prevent exposure of a sensor head of the WSS sensor (30) using a sealing cap (10) to the outside, and to prevent a malfunction of the WSS sensor (30) due to contamination of the WSS sensor (30) due to a foreign substance from outside or a magnetic foreign substance. The magnetic encoder-type hub bearing unit of the present invention comprises: an encoder (20) placed in an internal space where a sealing cap (10) that blocks a hub bearing (5) from the outside is formed; and a WSS sensor (30) inserted into the sealing cap (10) toward an air gap (a) that is formed by the interval formed by the sides of the encoder (20) and an inner housing (11) and the thickness of the inner housing (11). |
