VARIABLE LIQUID LENS SYSTEM

A variable liquid lens system is provided to have a focal distance control function and a zoom function, to minimize the area occupied by a driving device, and to make the system smaller. The variable liquid lens system comprises: a body tube having a wall and both ends, which are transparent for light to pass through these both ends; at least one liquid lens that contacts the wall inside the body tube and that is made into a liquid droplet having a contact angle with the wall; and a plurality of spaces located on one side and the other side of the liquid lens inside the body tube. The wall has a plurality of first holes for fluids to flow in the plurality of spaces. The system of the present invention controls the quantity of fluid contained in the plurality of spaces, controls the oil pressure and the air pressure in each of the plurality of spaces, adjusts the position of the liquid lens, and thereby varies the focus.
