<p>The invention provides a method and a device for the perforation processing of hard brittle plates. In the perforation processing of hard brittle plates such as glass plates to form circular holes, long holes and slot holes that run through along the plate thickness direction, the generation of big notches and cracks can be prevented as much as possible during processing, and circular holes and slot holes with different dimensions and shapes can be processed. A perforation grinding wheel is a cylindrical grinding wheel with a terminal surface at the end for grinding hard brittle plates along the plate thickness direction, and is a grinding wheel with a diameter smaller than the diameter or the slot width of the circular hole and the slot hole to be processed. A controller has a slot hole processing unit; the slot hole processing unit sets the rotation angle of a workpiece shaft to be theta or delta theta and the motion quantity of a grinding wheel pedestal to be x; and at least the following relation is maintained for control: x=(A+R-r)/cos theta, x=Ccos delta theta+(R-r)cos phi, wherein sin phi=Csic delta theta/(R-r), and x=(A-R+r)/cos theta. In above formulae, R is one half of the slot width of a slot hole, and r is the diameter of the perforation grinding wheel (r<R).</p> |
