<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for culturing microorganisms and a method for culturing microorgamism which are capable of improving culturing efficiency of the microorganisms and of cutting culturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The culture system includes: a bag form culture tank 2 to reserve the microorganisms and a culture liquid L therein; and a retrieving station 3 to retrieve the microorganisms cultured in the tank 2; wherein the culture tank 2 floats on the sea S; and the retrieving station 3 is installed undersea so that its upper part is exposed or sunk in the sea depending on the change of a seawater level. In the system, when the seawater level is lowered and the culture tank 2 installed on the top of the retrieving station 3 is exposed from the seawater level, the microorganisms are retrieved while draining the microorganisms-containing culture liquid L off the culture tank 2 owing to gravity of the culture liquid L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
