<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device which can be usefully controlled. <P>SOLUTION: A lighting device controls turning on and off a light-emitting part based on a first control signal from a portable external remote control and a second control signal from an external lighting device. At the time of partial coordination, the lighting device turns off the light emitting part if it receives a light-off signal by the second control signal when it is lighting in the state that there is no reception signal at a first receiving part due to the distance from the remote control. At the time of total coordination, it controls the light-emitting part by any of the first control signal and the second control signal. The first control signal has priority if instructions of the first control signal and the second control signal are different. The lighting device transmits the second control signal to the external lighting device. At the time of the partial coordination, it turns on itself by a light-on signal from the remote control, and transmits the second control signal for light-off to the external lighting device. It transfers the received second control signal to the external lighting device.
