A braking pressure maximum limitation method of brake traction control system is provided to prevent a braking pressure from being given by over a limit that is set for a low-friction driving wheel when climbing a slope with a split road surface and to improve the climbing performance. The method comprises the steps of: determining whether a slip occurs at a driving wheel; starting a BTCS control when a slip occurs at a driving wheel; determining whether an instability of a high-friction driving wheel occurs; accumulating and calculating a braking pressure given to a low-friction driving wheel; comparing an accumulated calculated value of braking pressure and a limit value of braking pressure of the low-friction driving wheel that is previously set; and, when the accumulated calculated value of braking pressure is larger than the limit value of braking pressure of the low-friction driving wheel that is previously set, setting the braking pressure given to the low-friction driving wheel to be the limit value when a slip occurs at the high-friction driving wheel. |
