PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a light-emitting device having a silver reflective layer of high reflectivity decrease of which due to corrosion is small, in which extraction efficiency of light is improved.SOLUTION: In a substrate 1 for mounting a light-emitting element having a substrate body 2, a silver reflective layer 6 formed on the substrate body 2 and based on silver or a silver alloy, and a protective layer containing glass formed to cover the entire surface of the silver reflective layer 6, the protective layer 7 contains an alumina based filler, and the glass composing the protective layer 7 contains silver in diffused state. Concentration of silver ions contained in the glass of the protective layer 7 is preferably 0.5-5.0 mass%. |
