PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver circuit for a display device, which can reduce steps by forming the circuit with only a TFT of one conductivity type and normally acquire voltage amplitude of an output signal.SOLUTION: A capacitor 205 is provided between a gate and a source of a TFT 203 connected to an output node, and a circuit comprising TFTs 201 and 202 comprises a function to set a node α into a floating state. When the node α is in the floating state, potential of the node α is set higher than that of a VDD by utilizing capacitance coupling between the gate and the source of the TFT 203 by the capacitor 205. Thereby, an output signal with amplitude between the VDD and a GND can be acquired normally without causing amplitude attenuation due to a threshold value of the TFT. |
