<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silver oxide that can be reduced to produce silver in the atmosphere at a temperature lower than that in conventional methods, even without coexistence of a reducing agent, and to provide a conductive composition having a low resistance value using the silver oxide. <P>SOLUTION: A silver oxide composition (2) comprises: a silver oxide composition (1) containing Ag<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O; and an organic protective agent, provided that the silver oxide composition (2) has a primary particle size of 10-150 nm. In the silver oxide composition (2), the initial temperature of thermal decomposition determined by a pyrolysis test in the atmosphere is≥115 to≤150°C, and the weight of inorganic matter can be decreased by≥0.5 wt.% and <4 wt.% by 150°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
