<p>A method of reducing corrosion of a corrosive metal containing work piece includes providing a corrosive metal containing work piece having a non-planar surface. The method can further include covering at least about 10% of the non-planar surface with a laminate. The laminate can include an aluminum alloy mesh having a first major surface and a second major surface. The laminate can further include a sliding layer overlying the first major surface. The sliding layer can be in direct contact with the aluminum alloy mesh. In another aspect, a corrosion protection article can include a bushing. The bushing can be in a non-planar shape. The bushing can further be shaped to enfold a work piece. The bushing can include an aluminum alloy mesh having a first major surface and include a sliding layer overlying the first major surface. The sliding layer can be in direct contact with the aluminum alloy mesh.</p> |
