A drying apparatus for sludge is provided to simplify the composition of a device by removing parts, to mainly use a heating method to reduce damage to a conveying unit, and to extend the functional life of the device. The drying apparatus for sludge of the present invention, which is for dehydrating and reducing moisture for recycling of organic sludge generated at sewage treatment plants, comprises: a support frame installed at an opposing position of one side that has a heating roll that is driven by a separate driving motor; a supply unit installed at an opposing position of the other side of the support frame that receives sludge to be treated from a treatment chamber through a duct line; a conveying unit that drives on an unlimited orbit by using a number of guides in between the supply unit and the heating roll and conveys the sludge supplied by the supply unit to the side of the heating roll; a first heating unit that wraps around the moving path of the conveying unit in between the supply unit and the heating roll and primarily heats the sludge conveyed to the conveying unit; a second heating unit that wraps around the heating roll and secondarily heats the sludge conveyed and supplied to the heating roll by the conveying unit and performs dehydration by compression; and a discharge unit installed at the direct bottom of the point where the conveying unit is separated from the heating roll to cover the full length of the heating roll that receives the sludge that is dried by evaporation and dehydration and breaks away. |
