<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a fault portion and the like in a communication system that performs signal transmission using a transmission system configured by hierarchically connecting a plurality of lane aggregates each consisting of one or more lanes for transmitting a signal. <P>SOLUTION: A fault monitoring determination device includes: fault information acquisition means acquiring fault information in a lane unit in a detection lane aggregate that is one lane aggregate among a plurality of lane aggregates; corresponding information storage means storing corresponding information in which the respective lanes of the detection lane aggregate and the respective lanes of the other respective lane aggregates are associated with each other; and fault determination means performing fault determination for the lane of the other lane aggregate corresponding to the lane of the detection lane aggregate whose fault information was acquired based on the fault information acquired by the fault information acquisition means and the corresponding information stored in the corresponding information storage means, and determining the portion where faults occur based on the fault determination results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
