<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornament having a high-quality colloid crystal with suppressed arrangement turbulence in a short time, with suppressed contraction of a surface and exhibiting a clear structure color. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the ornament includes: a first step of applying a dispersion liquid (A) containing a silica dioxide colloid to a substrate whose surface is coated with a metal-containing material, and drying the substrate to obtain a particle arrangement body in which a silica dioxide particle in the silica dioxide colloid is arranged; a second step of applying a dispersion liquid (B) containing resin and water or an organic solvent to the particle arrangement body, and drying the liquid to obtain a particle embedding body in which the particle arrangement body is embedded with the resin; and a third step of peeling the particle embedded body off the substrate to obtain the ornament made of the particle embedded body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
