<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer an existing cargo handling machine at a quay wall to a transport ship during berthing at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A running bogie 30 connected to a leg 20 of the cargo handling machine 1 with a lock pin is held with a jack 40, the lock pin 34 is pulled out to separate the leg and a traveling bogie, a swivel joint 50 is inserted between both the separated parts, the traveling bogie is rotated so as to allow the traveling direction to turn into the normal line direction of a wall surface 101 in a quay wall 100, and the cargo handling machine is moved in the normal line direction with the traveling bogie easily transferable. The swivel joint includes an upper member 60 having a through hole 23 for the lock pin and a hole 61 formed at the same axle in the leg and a lower member 70 having a through hole 35 for the lock pin and a hole 71 formed at the same axle in the traveling bogie, the jack is installed at a position which does not interfere the traveling bogie from being rotated, and the leg, the upper member, the traveling bogie and the lower member are connected with individual lock pins 62, 72, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
