The present invention relates to a secondary battery with an electrode assembly embedded and sealed in a battery case. An electrode lead which is electrically connected to the electrode assembly protrudes to the outside of a sealing part of the battery case. The electrode lead includes a first lead part which is electrically connected to the electrode assembly, a second lead part which is electrically connected to an external device, and a fuse which electrically connects the first lead part to the second lead part, is partially located on the sealing part of the battery case, and has a disconnection part with a relatively small cross section in comparison with the other vertical cross section to be preferentially damaged in the conduction of an overcurrent. |
