<p>A water treatment device and a water-purifying device provided with said water treatment device. The water treatment device, which is provided with a flow channel and a treatment material disposed in said flow channel and comprising a disinfecting sterilizing agent obtained from a water soluble solid and which supplies the water to be treated from the upstream side of the treatment material to elute the disinfecting sterilizing agent into the water being treated and obtain disinfected sterilized water, is provided with a valve means for closing the flow channel when, due to the elution, the remaining amount of treatment material becomes zero or when the remaining amount of treatment material decreases to a prescribed value prior to becoming zero.</p> |
