A system for clamping a wireline tool, the system comprising a clamp 10 having a body 20, a first insert 30 and first gate 40, a second insert and second gate which are attachable to the body. When the clamp is in a closed position, the first insert and the first gate or the second insert and the second gate substantially enclose at least a portion of the wireline tool. The first insert and first gate are interchangeable with the second insert and second gate, to accommodate different wireline diameters. The body comprises a neck, with the first and second inserts being interlockable with the neck. The body comprises a neck, with the first and second gates being interlockable with the neck. The gates are attachable to the body by a first pin 50 and second pin 50, wherein the pins have an engaged and disengaged position. When the first pin is in engaged position and second pin is in disengaged position, the gate is pivotable open and closed. The first and second inserts comprise fixing holes (Fig 3, 37) adapted to receive a securing pin (Fig 3, 38). |
