<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyte analysis chip having less risk of contamination and infection by a test solution and having favorable mass productivity. <P>SOLUTION: An elongated and tabular analysis chip 1 for analysing a liquid sample is formed by sticking a plurality of sheet members. The analysis chip includes: a positioning hole 4 provided at a chip tip end 2 for use in when being inserted into a measuring instrument; a sample introduction hole 6, at a chip central part side face, projecting from the side face; a sample flow path 7 provided inside the chip for guiding the introduced sample to a sample storage part 8 by a capillary phenomenon; a membrane filter for processing the sample introduced in the sample storage part 8; an examination hole 5 provided at the chip lower face for taking out and examining the processed test solution; an air hole 9 provided at the chip upper face for smoothing the entry of the sample; and a grip part 3 formed at the opposite-side end of the chip tip end for gripping the chip.
