<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vitamins-containing beverage, suppressed in vitamins-derived offensive odor and improved in liking effect as beverage. <P>SOLUTION: The beverage is provided, which is obtained by including a mixture of theanine and pyroglutamic acid in an acidic beverage containing vitamin B1 or a derivative thereof. Thus, this beverage can suppress offensive odor to be emitted without impairing its sense of medicinal efficacy derived from the vitamin B1 or the derivative thereof. Besides, the flavor-improving effect of the mixture of theanine and pyroglutamic acid is also capable of suppressing peculiar offensive odor to be emitted when vitamin B1 or the derivative thereof is put to combined use with ascorbic acid or vitamin B1 or the derivative thereof with other vitamins and/or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
