PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method and device for manufacturing a safer drinking water from muddy water (raw water for drinking water) such as river or pond water and ground water, without using electricity in an area where electricity is unavailable due to disaster or in an area where no electric facility is installed.SOLUTION: A drinking water manufacturing device 1 includes: a wire cloth filter 10 for preliminary filtration of raw water for drinking water; a tank 20 in which treatment water treated with the wire cloth filter 10 is left standing for deposition of impurities in the treatment water and subjected to sterilization and deodorization with an antimicrobial agent 40 of metallic ions; an upper faucet 22 for removal of suspended matters floating in the supernatant water of the treatment water treated in the tank 20 from the tank 20; and a cloth filter 30 through which the supernatant water of the treatment water treated in the tank 20 passes for filtration of impurities in the supernatant water. |
