<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simulating tire performance, which shortens the time required for the design and development of a tire and also accurately simulates a performance of the tire, and to provide a device and a program for simulating tire performance. <P>SOLUTION: The method for simulating tire performance includes: a step 102 of producing a tire model in which a tire is divided into a plurality of tire elements; a step 106 of setting an expansion rate of the tire and based on the set expansion rate, calculating a parameter on a form of the tire after vulcanization of the tire; steps 108, 110 of calculating a form of the tire after vulcanization based on the parameter; a step 112 of calculating a thermal shrinkage rate and residual stress of the tire based on the form of the tire after vulcanization; and a step of executing a performance analysis of the tire based on the shrinkage rate and residual stress of the tire. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
