<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-modified base material having desired properties such as hydrophilicity, hydrophobicity, lipophilicity and oil repellency on the surface of the base material, to provide a method for manufacturing the base material, and to provide a two-pack type surface modifier suitably usable for the method for producing the surface-modified base material. <P>SOLUTION: The two-pack type surface modifier comprises a liquid-I containing an alkoxysilyl group-containing compound having a thiol group, and a liquid-II containing a (meth)acrylic compound. The method for producing the surface-modified base material includes coating the liquid-I containing the alkoxysilyl group-containing compound having the thiol group on the base material, and coating the liquid-II containing the (meth)acrylic compound on the coated surface to react the alkoxysilyl group-containing compound having the thiol group with the (meth)acrylic compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
