<p>Provided are a vacuum switchgear with a vacuum-degradation detection device for determining the degradation of the vacuum inside a vacuum valve (2), and a method for detecting the vacuum degradation of a vacuum switchgear. The load acting on a cylindrical vacuum container (2a) in the direction in which a fixed contact element (2b) and a movable contact element (2c) face each other is measured through the intermediary of an insulating member (21) and a connecting fitting (22) by a load sensor (41) linked to the vacuum container (2a) of the vacuum valve (2), and a signal processor (42) calculates the variation over time of the load.</p> |
