<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal gear type oil pump capable of preventing burning and also restraining surface pressure rise of the inner circumferential surface of the housing coming in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the outer gear by applying a simple process to a housing. <P>SOLUTION: An oil groove 27 is formed on the side surface of a pump body 2 facing the side surface of an outer gear 6, elongating to the axial extension of the inner circumferential surface of the pump body 2 (inner circumferential surface of a recessed part 21) with its inner circumferential end communicating with an intake port 22 and its outer circumferential end sliding against the outer circumferential surface of the outer gear 6 or to the vicinity thereof. Oil in the oil groove 27 is supplied to a gap between the outer circumferential surface of the outer gear 6 and the inner circumferential surface of the pump body 2 for preventing seizure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
