An electronic system and a method of disengaging a power supply unit from an electronic device

An electronic system comprising an electronic device and a power supply unit (PSU) 11 for the electronic device; the electronic device comprising a wall, the wall comprising a recess 5 for receiving the PSU, the recess comprising a top edge 6, a bottom edge 7 and first and second side edges, one of the bottom edge and first and second side edges being open through with the PSU can pass; the top edge comprising at least one first power connector 10 and at least one locating means 12; the PSU comprising top 13 and bottom 14 edges, the top edge 13 comprising at least one second power connector 15 for engagement with the first power connector and at least one locating means 16 for engagement with the first locating means; the locating means and power connectors being arranged such that as the PSU is slid along the recess towards the recess top edge the first and second locating means engage before the power connectors engage; and, as the PSU is slid along the recess in the opposite direction the locating means disengage before the bottom edge of the PSU reaches the bottom edge of the recess. The device may be a mixing desk. The locating means may be pin and aperture. There may be a plurality of power connectors. A fixing means for fixing the PSU in engagement may be provided.
