PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel open/close container made of synthetic resin in which the number of components is reduced without losing usability required to open/close a lid.SOLUTION: A compact container made of synthetic resin has a locking piece 9 which engages with a locking piece 7 provided on the lid 6 thereby preventing the lid 6 from opening. An operating member 8 disposed in a notch formed on a sidewall 4 of a container body 2 is pushed inside the container body 2 thereby permitting the lid 6 to open. The container body 2 is integrally coupled with the operating member 8 via a hinge 10. In addition, locking protrusions 11 which engage with the sidewall 4 forming the notch by pulling the operating member 8 to stand from the hinge 10 and keep the operating member 8 standing are provided on both sides of the operating member 8. |
